About the Role
As this is a new position, you will have a unique opportunity to influence how we move forward. You will become the link between production, product development, and technology, taking significant responsibility for creating order, standardization, and long-term improvements in our processes.
As a Production & Process Engineer, you will provide operational support to production, focusing on understanding, documenting, and developing our processes. You will work closely with production managers, operators, and other functions to identify improvement opportunities and translate them into concrete results.
The role supports both the bakery in Malmö and Stockholm. However, the focus will be on Malmö, where this position is based. You will report to the Head of Operations.
Your main responsibilities include:
Who are you?
Educationally, you are likely a chemical engineer or have a production technology focus. We are looking for someone who thrives in a role that combines analysis with practical implementation. You enjoy being close to operations and are driven by creating structure, engaging people, and improving working methods.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have at least 3-4 years of experience in process development and improvement work within manufacturing industry, preferably from food production or the pharmaceutical industry. You are skilled at mapping processes and have the ability to translate analyses and insights into concrete improvements that create real value in the business. You enjoy working in a data-driven manner and use key figures, analyses, and facts as a basis for identifying improvement potential and making decisions.
We would like you to have experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement, or similar working methods, and that you have driven projects where multiple functions need to collaborate to achieve a common goal.
You have good knowledge of Excel and other relevant IT and data systems, and an interest in how digital tools and data can be used to develop and optimize production.
As a person, you are structured, results-oriented, and unpretentious. You enjoy working close to operations and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed. You are a team player who builds trust and creates good relationships, while also being self-reliant and daring to take initiative and drive issues forward. Since the role involves many contact points and collaboration across departmental boundaries, you also have good communication skills and express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
